Nick and Trudy Marshall have been Van Gogh Construction customers since they first toured a model home in Valparaiso in spring 2003. They have been Van Gogh Construction fans ever since.

"We knew Van Gogh Construction had a very good reputation in the area," says Trudy Marshall. "The home is beautiful and right for us."

The Marshalls selected a spacious, maintenance free brick home, with special features, including handicapped accessible fixtures and rounded corners throughout the house. Trudy also points to the expert finishing details throughout the house.

"Van Gogh Construction used good products in building this house, and they were very good about providing plenty of information to us," Trudy says. "We even invite people into our home who are just touring the area and considering building a home here, we're so proud and pleased with our home."

Dave and Kay Scott
Valparaiso, IN

Dave and Kay Scott chose Van Gogh Construction to build their dream home after spending more than two years looking for the right builder. The pair searched throughout Northwest Indiana and Bloomington, IN, before deciding on Van Gogh Construction to build a single family home for them, moving into their new home in May 2003.

The Scotts were no strangers to new homes, having had their previous two homes built from the ground up, but Van Gogh Construction, says Dave, was different from the beginning.

"Van Gogh Construction was willing to build the type of home we really wanted, and we really fell in love with this area," says Dave. "As far as being accommodating and flexible, Van Gogh Construction was willing to do whatever we wanted to get our home built the way we wanted it."

The Van Gogh Construction team worked closely with the Scotts on their vision for their dream home and all the details, and Carol, Van Gogh Construction' controller, even baked treats to satisfy Dave's sweet tooth.

"Van Gogh Construction is the best builder we've ever worked with," Dave says. "It's just like one big family, and they make you feel like part of that family."

Valparaiso, IN

Ken and Mary Brist happened to select Van Gogh Construction after chancing upon an open house for a Van Gogh Construction condominium in the summer of 2003. The Brists chose Audubon Estates for its wooded areas and Van Gogh Construction for its floor plans and unique attention to detail.

"We liked the floor plan, the basement and the setting on a cul de sac near the woods, and it was new," says Mary. "We chose Van Gogh Construction after looking at two other builders in the area."

Like other Van Gogh Construction customers, Mary points out the kinds of design details that sets Van Gogh Construction apart from other builders.

"I really love the window shapes," she says. "It really reminds me of something you would see in a Frank Lloyd Wright home."
